How I shine in my purpose

S.T.O.P. (S.LOWLY T.AP O.UT ON P.URPOSE) Stop trying to feed your message to others who have a closed mouth. Haven’t you ever heard the old cliché that you could lead a horse to water, but you cannot make him drink? Your message is not for everyone.

[Number 5] Be truthful and honest with yourself and others!

Friends, welcome. Number five is pretty self-explanatory.

[Number 4] Be authentic and bold!

Most people fail because they are afraid to fail. Do not be scared to fail. Get over yourself and allow yourself to make mistakes. When we place ourselves on petistools, we are setting ourselves up for not being the best version of our best selves. To be successful, you must go through the process of trying and falling and getting back up. In that, your failure will become the face of your success.

[Number 3] Be innovative and creative!

My mother used to say, "nothing beat a cannot but a try." Try to get your idea off of the ground. Reframe your purpose, by redesigning what didn’t work. If your original plan is not successful, get a mentor and ask for help. Find someone who you admire, and ask them to help you discover some new ideas. Some of the most successful people ask for help. They collaborate, understand, and find value in partnerships. They are not afraid to go back to the drawing board and begin again. Family innovation breeds passion. It builds character. It helps you to see the world from a different view.

[Number 2] Be encouraged and real! Be who you are.

I know you’ve heard that many times before but if you are not going to be who you know that you are, you will become lost in the process. Do you want to know why you want to give up? You keep changing your message so that you can be accepted by the ones who your message may not be designed for. You lose yourself trying to give what you have to everyone else, and then you find yourself wanting to give up. I know that life is short, but so are your opportunities when you don’t encourage yourself to keep going and remain true to your ministry and purpose.

[Number 1] Be YOU! S.T.O.P. (SLOWLY TAP OUT ON PURPOSE)

Stop trying to feed your message to others who have a closed mouths. Haven’t you ever heard the old cliché that you could lead a horse to water, but you cannot make him drink? Your message is not for everyone. Sometimes you can make yourself give up on yourself because you are trying too hard to make your message work. It is not working because you are forcing it or maybe giving it to the wrong audience. It is okay to go back to the drawing board and try again. A canvas is blank for a reason. Stop being afraid to fail. Most people fail because they are so scared to fail. Use failure as your stepping stone and press to where you need to be. See, you next time
